Arrive Shimla
Settle in, easy evening walk on the Ridge.
Day 2
Shimla to Sangla
Long drive along the Sutlej into Kinnaur.
Day 3
Chitkul and Kalpa
Last village on the Baspa, then Kinner Kailash views from Kalpa.
Day 4
Kalpa to Nako
Cross into the cold desert; lakeside village walk.
Day 5
Tabo and Dhankar
Ancient murals at Tabo and the cliff monastery at Dhankar.
Day 6
Kaza base
Valley hub day with a visit to Key and Kibber.
Day 7
High villages
Langza fossils, Komic monastery and Hikkim.
Day 8
Kaza to Manali
Kunzum La crossing with a Chandratal detour when open.
Day 9
Departure
Transfer from Manali to Bhuntar or Chandigarh.
