Itinerary

Leh -Arriving Day

  • Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport, Leh.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
  • Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude.
  • Overnight stay at The Leh Hotel.

Leh Local Exploration

  • Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel.
  • Explore Leh at your own pace.
  • Visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa, Thiksey Monastery, and the Royal Palace.
  • Shop at the local Tibetan market.
  • Evening at leisure; dinner at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Leh - Khardung La - Nubra Valley

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive towards Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,350 feet).
  • Pass through Horzey and Gangles Village.
  • Arrive in Nubra Valley; visit Diskit, the HQ town.
  • Visit Diskit Monastery and drive to Khalsar Bridge.
  • Continue to Hunder; see Double-Humped Bactrian camels.
  • Reach the camp site by evening.
  • Overnight stay at the camp.

Nubra Valley/Hunder – Sumur – Siachen Base Camp

  • Start the journey with breakfast at the camp in Nubra Valley/Hunder.
  • Drive towards Sumur, renowned for its remote location and stunning natural beauty.
  • Explore Sumur, appreciating its picturesque landscape and vibrant surroundings.
  • Visit Panamik to experience its therapeutic hot springs, believed to aid in various health conditions.
  • Continue to Tear Pond and Sasoma, enjoying the scenic drive.
  • Proceed to Siachen Base Camp, situated at 12,000 feet, and the highest battlefield in the world. The Indian Army captured it in 1984 during Operation Meghdoot. Special permissions now allow civilian visits to the base camp, which was previously restricted to Sasoma.
  • Return to Sumur and settle in for the evening.
  • Overnight stay in Sumur at a local camp or guesthouse.

Sumur – Pangong TSO

  • Begin the day with breakfast at your accommodation in Sumur.
  • Drive to Pangong TSO, taking an adventurous and less-traveled route.
  • Enjoy a camel ride and photo session in the dunes of Nubra Valley.
  • Arrive at Pangong Lake by the afternoon, taking in its breathtaking beauty.
  • Check-in at the camp near Pangong Lake.
  • Spend the evening relaxing by the lake.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the camp by Pangong Lake.

Pangong TSO - Leh

  • Morning photography at Pangong Lake.
  • Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass.
  • Arrive in Leh by evening.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.

Departure from Leh

  • Check out of the hotel.
  • Depart from Leh, taking home lasting memories from the trip.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to your booking with Travelonama. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them. These terms constitute the entire agreement between Travelonama and the Client relating to the subject matter herein.

  • Ownership of Content: Photos/videos created on Travelonama's trips are the property of Travelonama and can only be used by Travelonama for advertising across media platforms. Use of digital content by any other party requires permission from Travelonama.
  • Payment: Full payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending payments may lead to trip cancellation with no refund of the booking amount.
  • Identification and Boarding: Valid government ID verification is required before boarding. Bookings are non-transferable, and only names mentioned at confirmation are allowed to travel. Unless It is mentioned over email 15 Day prior before the departure.
  • Refunds and Discounts: No refunds or discounts for inclusions not availed by the Client, including termination/departure from the tour, sickness, death, late arrival, or premature departure.
  • Luggage Responsibility: Travelers are responsible for their luggage & belongings. The management is not accountable for missing items during the tour.
  • Departure and Timing: Travelers must update their status with the trip coordinator(s) and report 45 mins prior to departure. The departure time is fixed, and missing the bus renders one ineligible for refunds.
  • Air Conditioning: AC may be switched off in hills for safety. The driver may turn off the AC as required for safety & ease of travel.
  • Health and Safety: Drinking & smoking are not recommended due to health concerns. Tours involve physically demanding activities, so being in good shape is advised.
  • Conduct: Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated. Participants are expected to maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor.
  • Delays and Alterations: Travelonama is not responsible for delays or alterations due to natural hazards, accidents, machinery breakdowns, weather conditions, or other untoward incidents.
  • Insurance: Travelonama does not provide insurance coverage for sickness, accidents, theft, or other losses incurred during travel. Unless It's mentioned in Inclusions.
  • Misbehavior: Any misbehavior with the team or fellow travelers will result in trip termination and possible legal action.
  • Cancellation by Travelonama: Travelonama reserves the right to cancel any trip for reasons beyond its control. It will not cancel a tour before departure except for Force Majeure or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Price Changes: Prices may change from the time of publication due to transportation costs, currency fluctuations, or other reasons. Clients are advised to check the most up-to-date prices before booking.
  • Flexibility: Travelonama may need to alter the itinerary for safety, comfort, or well-being reasons. Participants should allow for reasonable alterations.
  • Liability: Travelers are responsible for themselves during the trip. Travelonama is not liable for accidents or loss of life.
  • Independent Contractors: Travelonama is not responsible for independent contractors' services or products. These contractors work directly for the Client and are not supervised by Travelonama.
  • Severability: If any term or condition is unenforceable, it shall be severed from the agreement, and the remaining terms shall continue to be binding.
  • Refusal of Service: Travelonama reserves the right to refuse service to any Client for any reason, except for discrimination or protected class reasons.
  • Updates to Terms: Travelonama may update these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Client's responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms may be found on Travelonama's website.
